Wonderful AP photos on the front page of the Brattleboro VT Reformer this
morning - Max Purvis of Oregon, 8 mos, wearing his "Got breastmilk?" shirt,
and a picture from Burlington, VT. Wondered if I would know anybody, and
there was Dorothy and Hope Forguites in the very front of the picture. I'll
bet Pat Forguites, retired LLLL and facilities coordinator for the VLCA
Annual Conference, is very proud!
I'm tickled that this "next generation" is just getting out there. And I'll
tell you, the local take on this is has nothing to do with people fanatics.
They just think it's ridiculous that Emily Gillette and her daughter got
thrown off the plane for breastfeeding without a blanket.
Naturally the article ends with "I just think it should be discreet" from
some random passerby.
But -- it seems like a step forward...
