An easy way to get information to doctors if you a hospital-based LC.  Do a 
short inservice for them at one of their monthly medical staff meetings.   
Contact the chair of the particular department (OB, peds, etc.) that you are 
interested in inservicing and/or the medical secretary to set up a day/time. 
You may not even have to supply food.  Our medical staff meetings are first 
thing in the morning with a continental breakfast that the hospital provides.  I 
always make sure I have a "meaty" packet of information that I give to the 
secretary to distribute to the mailboxes of all the docs, as our meetings are 
historically not well attended.  This way the office have the information - 
whether or not they read it and use it is their responsibility.
I also downloaded and printed out all the ABM's protocols and placed them in 
an indexed 3-ring binder.  There is a binder on each of the 3 OB units 
(Mother/Baby, L&D, and the Nurseries), in the Lactation office, and in the 
Neonatology office, so that everyone has access to these important protocols.
