I had to laugh when I went back to see if the OP had
responded to my lengthy post on groups.google.com to
the boulder.ads group on the dad who wanted the baby
scale.  Very succintly, another dad answered: "i hope
you don't give the baby a complex, or
something weighing it every day or two...we
used to just go by the baby dr. and weights @ visits..
every month or so....you will see how the baby looks
day to day...and if it is doing "well" or not..."
Sometimes I think we might offer more information than
is being asked for.  :-))
