Thanks to those who answered my query on OTC meds, specifically Dr. Jack.

I had already told the mom that both meds were in pediatric formulations of
OTCs for colds/coughs and appreciate that that line of reasoning is yours as
well. My only other concern was whether they worked through any mechanism
which would affect supply or transfer of breast milk. For example,
antihistamines are found in pediatric formulations, but they can decrease
milk production when taken by BFing mom. I hope that since you don't mention
that as a possibility, it isn't a problem. Again, thanks so much.
