A husband and wife, parents of 6 children, were murdered this morning by
Palestinian bullets while driving home. Five of the children were injured in
the resultant crash--miraculously the oldest child, a 12 year old boy, was
dropped off at school 5 minutes before the attack.
Amazingly, a call went out on national radio--will a volunteer please come
to the hospital in Jerusalem to breastfeed the injured 2 month old baby
girl. Sigh. (I didn't hear it again, so I assume someone was found.) We
really are such a small country.
Let's remember to be thankful for those babies who have their mothers to
breastfeed them, and pray for those newly orphaned children, one of whom is
fighting for her life.
