In the Oct 2003 issue of "Canadian Living" magazine, they did an article
titled "Battle with a Killer" about the increasing numbers of younger women
being diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

In a sidebar to the article,  they listed ways to lower your risk.
Breastfeeding was listed.

I researched ovarian cancer on the Internet, and on the National Ovarian
Cancer Association site

they did list breastfeeding under "Practical Ways to Reduce the Risk of
Ovarian Cancer".

It appears that this Association has just launched a three-year project to
raise awareness, funded by the Lawson Foundation: (I would assume this
Canadian Living article was intiated by this group and this campaign)

Many questions to ask here:
Why do the ovarian cancer people include breastfeeding in their prevention
list, while breast cancer groups do not?

How can breastfeeding groups get funded like this?
