Does it make sense that the hormones of lactation would cause the continued
loosness of muscles of the pelvic floor?
Dear Friends:
This sounds like yet another way to sacrifice breastfeeding on the altar
of ignorance. Perhps this mother could seek a second opinion?
I knew an OB who told a client of mine, at her 6 week check up, that he
wouldn't bother doing any pelvic reconstructive surgery "until after her second
baby." This client had fecal incontinence and said ( to me, and not to the
OB) "There ain't gonna be no second baby!"
