I am assuming she doesn't start any medications, over the counter supplements, something she considers "really nothing"? Something her doctor
told her doesn't affect breast milk production?

Subject: Re: abrupt loss of supply

Any sharing of suggestions as to the following case is very much appreciated.
Permission to post that this mom is in the first trimester of her 4th pregnancy.
She has the start of a good supply and always ends up supplementing at 2 weeks and then by the end of 6 weeks,
her milk just suddenly dries up-1 side first and then the other side (she noticed the first to dry up was different this last baby).

She used MMP with her 2nd & 3rd kids which helped some, but she still needed to supplement.
Her last baby, she did lots of extra pumping & MMP and it looked more promising, but once again,
she needed early supplements & all 3 times, no milk at all at 6 weeks. She has no medical problems,
breasts are normal looking, always has breast growth with pregnancy, etc. Am I missing something here?
Is there something else she can be doing? I know there are other supplements she could try and we really want to
be prepared when this next baby comes. Thanks fellow lactnetters.
