Should add to my previous post: Scotland has a network of
breastfeeding support groups, as well as 10 years of hard, hard work
and networking, between the volunteer groups, health professionals,
health education agencies...which I suspect is the reason behind the
fact that they have maintained their bf rates better than England and
Wales.

One of the leading lights in this is Jenny Warren (I wish she was on
Lactnet!) who is Scotland's National Breastfeeding Adviser.
