Hi Fleur,

Did mom have any liver enzyme issues as well during pregnancy? The reason I ask is that it may be she had H.E.L.L.P syndrome? A complication of preeclampsia.
I can speak from personal experience. I developed H.E.L.L.P syndrome during my pregnancy (high blood pressure, elevated liver enzymes, low platelets) but kidney function is also involved with experiencing nephrotic syndrome (as I did). I struggled to obtain/sustain any milk supply. Lactogenesis did not occur until Day 10 for me. I did take domperidone which helped some, along with blood pressure medication Adalat XL. Don't know if this helps or not? Good Luck! :)

Thanks,
