I remember 15 years ago when the nurse instructed me in the use of the
ubiquitous blue bulb syringe before letting me take one of my twins home
from the NICU.  I was horrified and knew I would never use it since I
figured I'd suck the brains right out of the kid if I tried.

With six kids, we still have quite a few of these lying around in drawers.
Every now and then one of the younger ones will find one and do they ever
make nifty bath toys!
