Certainly, there are many aspects of research effecting it's accuracy (thus, outcomes).  The bigger the sample size, the better the research being one of them, correct?  Per CDC, exclusive breastfeeding rates drop by almost 50% from 3 months to 6 months.  47% is a much higher sample size than 25%!  Have to start somewhere!

By the way, I am no expert on research but am trying to educate myself! One of those educational opportunities is following Dr. Jenny Thomas, MD, MPH, IBCLC, FAAP, FABM on her Facebook group "Dr. Jen 4 Kids: Breastfeeding Medicine Journal Club".  It's been educational and fascinating!
