I have 4 children...my oldest I started solids at 3 months (thanks doc for
that "great" advice) he nursed until he was 15 months. Is now a picky eater
and has some speech issues. My next child did not accept any solids until
he was 12 months and was nursed until 2. He has no issues with food...will
try anything, no food sensitivities (but some chemical sensitivities) and no
speech issues. My third I introduced solids at 6 months and nursed until he
was 2, he has a bunch of food sensitivities and is a very picky eater, no
speech issues. My 4th started receiving solids at 9-10 months, she nursed
until she was 5. She has some food sensitivities (red dye and sulfas), no
speech issues and not a picky eater at all.

Just a sample size of 4...not scientific but interesting nonetheless.

Subject: "delayed" introduction of solids/extended exclusive bf and
potential for feeding disorder
