Medela has a bili bed that may be helpful. We did a trial recently-baby's
bili dropped dramatically after 24 hours. Not scientific trial-so don't know
if it was the bili bed or something else that contributed to bili drop. Baby
can also be breastfed q2-3h using the bili blanket while at the breast. I
can't imagine most babies taking 30cc of fluid q3h at that early age. Baby may
regurg if taking that much and probably won't be ready to eat in 3 hrs. Maybe
an IV would benefit the situation. If a supplement is needed, perhaps SNS
could be used. This is a sticky situation.
