I was wondering this too. Have triglyceride levels been drawn often enough
on *exclusively* breastfed infants to actually have an accurate reference
range? Considering the food reactions, there is obviously something going on
with this baby, but perhaps the high triglycerides have nothing to do with
it, and are actually distracting from the real issue. Perhaps it is normal
for exclusively breastfed infants to have high triglyceride levels (as is
the case with cholesterol), and the levels only appear high because they are
being judged against a reference range that is not representative of
exclusively breastfed babies. 
There could of course be a medical problem with this baby, but I'm really
curious about where the reference range for the triglycerides comes from.
