Hi All,
I'm a LLLLeader, and at our meeting last night, a mother brought
up a (valid) doubt. The idea was brought up that meeting your
baby/child's needs and not forcing independence actually brings about
stronger and healthier independence. This mother wondered if I could
lead her to any research, because in her opinion, there were two camps of
ideaology, both having a lot of rhetoric and no data. I told her I'd
have to get back to her.
I've been nomail for months (don't know how any of you keep up
:) ), but I wouldn't even consider not consulting this incredible body of
expertise called Lactnet. Please email privately. Thanks, Sally Bishop,
LLLL
