This is just a thought, but I noticed something when I waspregnant with my
third child and had 2 older ones running around. I had taken vitamin B6 for
nausea during the early months of pregnancy for nausea. When I quit
taking it after the nausea had passed, I noticed I had greater mood swings
and would get very irritated at my children. However, while taking it, my
moods mellowed out and I rarely ever lost my patience with my kids. I was
amazed at the difference and so took it for years. I used to say it kept me
from killing children (I realize that's not funny in light of recent events,
but it is not a pleasant feeling to totally lose your temper with your
children). I have since noticed that it is recommended for women with PMS,
and helps with mood swings. I'm sure Jennifer could enlighten us further.
Anyway, just a suggestion. As a side note, I agree with Nikki that
nursing should be mutually enjoyable to mother and child. When it is not
that any longer, perhaps the better choice would be to find things mom CAN
enjoy with the child instead that do not involve nursing.
