Dear Ann,

I don't have any suggestions for positioning, but the mom might try
breastfeeding in front of a mirror once she gets home.  She seems to
have a lot of issues because she "can't see" what's going on (placing
baby, nipple shield, pump, whatever).  Perhaps that would help.
