Meg,
I guess it depends on whether or not you want to start an ILCA affilate group
or just an "IBCLC" group. You could call it a breastfeeding task force or
community alliance and invite other breastfeeding supporters as well. Most
ILCA affiliates pay dues of some sort to ILCA and receive the JHL and other
mailings from ILCA. It's all up to you. Suggest checking at www.ILCA.org for
more information. And no, you don't HAVE to be ILCA members to belong to an
affiliate group.
