Just a little happy story....I work in the hospital seeing new breastfeeding
moms.  I have often encouraged women who have chosen not to breastfeed to
give it a try.  This rarely has any impact.  However, occasionally I see one
whose baby convinces her.  Yesterday I saw a mom of 3.  She never breastfed,
but this baby was fighting the nipple (yes, the bottle nipple).  However, he
turned to the breast, so she tried it.  He latched right on as if knowing he
had this one chance to convince Mom.  He has happily nursed several times and
they are going home as a happy nursing couple!!!  some days have a bit of joy
to counteract the hard cases where moms quit breastfeeding because they don't
like it.
