"Unfortunately despite the fact that there are other insurance policies
available that would not require its leaders to make this choice, LLLI
issued a statement today that it will not consider changing this policy."

Jaye here. I think this is one of the most asinine and 'cut off your nose
to spite your face' bits of nonsense I have heard in a long time. Wow. How
arrogant is this? I wonder what they would do if the vast majority of their
Leaders got so disgusted with this behavior that they switched out to the
new organization? Would they change this policy to be a cooperating
organization rather than territorial or not?

Some LLLL have said they would stay with LLLI only because they want to be
able to reach the moms...but they will be able to reach the moms - the moms
won't leave them. But people are losing respect for LLLI and I have an
entire group of moms who are so disappointed with how they have been treated
by LLLI in our area (I know a few Leaders/groups that are great!) that they
want nothing to do with LLL in general. I find this to be sad as good
Leaders off a great support. But this behavior on LLLI's part certainly
does not help - and believe me my group has heard about it - and not from
me.

I just do not understand this type of behavior. It is not what I thought
LLLI was all about at all...wow.

Respectfully,
Jaye
