    there was some interesting discussion about milk storage/spoilage some
time ago... I will share the bits and you can see if any of it "fits"

    Joan Fisher workered with a mom  who "tested" milk stoage containers and
dound that...milk in pl.....  bags lasted 3 wks. but had to be used
immediately upon thawing, csf bags kept milk good indefinately but spoiled
quickley once thawed, plastic and glass were best but milk went bad within 24
hrs....THIS WAS HER EXPERIENCE>

    RL. indicated tht milk with high lipid content will go bad more quickley.


     As I recall someone recommened scalding milk first....
