Greetings All,

A new study has looked at the role of the oxytocin receptor (OCTR) gene in binge-eating, albeit not a breastfeeding topic but an oxytocin topic, so am sharing.

The ScienceDaily news release on recent findings regarding the role of the oxytocin receptor (OCTR) gene in binge-eating:
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/07/160712092336.htm

A journal link was not included in this news release, and I haven't yet been able to locate it via PubMed search. As the news release states, the study findings were reported last week by York University researcher Caroline Davis and colleagues, during a presentation at the Annual Meeting of the Society for the Study of Ingestive Behavior (SSIB), the society for the research on all aspects of eating and drinking behavior.
