Do not boil it [water] more than once, as this can increase the
concentration of impurities.

More on those *impurities*:
Unlike chlorine that evaporates on standing or when boiled, fluoridated
water boiled down concentrates as it is an ion that is heavier than water.
This becomes an issue when feeding with powdered artificial baby milk
formulas. Boston Physicians for Social Responsibility cited fluoride
exposure and ingestion as a *probable neurotoxin.*
See their year 2000 report, Chapter 2 of In Harm's Way: Toxic Threats to
Child Development

With 75% of community water being fluoridated here in the US, many state
health departments are down-playing this guideline of no infant fluoride
ingestion under interim guidelines by the ADA. It states no fluoride for
babies from birth to 6 months and very low levels to age 3. This parallels
the AAP's original 1997 Breastfeeding Policy.

"Parents, caregivers and health professionals who are concerned have some
simple and effective ways to reduce fluoride intake from infant formula":
feeding infants breast milk, widely acknowledged as the most complete form
of nutrition for infants;
for infants who get most of their nutrition from formula during the first 12
months, choosing ready-to-feed formula over formula mixed with fluoridated
water to help ensure that infants do not exceed the optimal amount of
fluoride intake;
if liquid or powdered concentrate infant formulas is the primary source of
nutrition, it can be mixed with water that is fluoride free or contains low
levels of fluoride to decrease the risk of [permanent tooth dental enamel]
fluorosis, including water that is labeled purified, demineralized,
deionized, distilled or reverse osmosis filtered water (many grocery stores
sell these types of drinking water for less than $1 per gallon); [in plastic
jugs with their own phthlate risks]

It is so much safer, easier and less expensive to just breastfeed the baby.
