Hmm, not even from those babies who suck their fingers or thumbs?

Seems to me some mothers use dummies (pacifiers) instead of letting their babies suck
their thumbs or fingers. Which is something, as we know, that some babies do - and some
don't, even when they are fed to need. Why give them the artificial thing when the natural
one is already there and available when they want(?!) Please no flames/lectures about
teeth!
