I know of a woman in California who is suing a well known clothing store
chain. She was in the store waiting for her sister and went to the
back/fitting room bench to discretely nure her baby, i.e. blanket over
shoulder. The manager came up to her and told her where the bathroom was. She
replied she did not need to use the restroom. The manager then asked her to
leave , as she was disturbing the clients. She has retained an attorney and
intends to sue.. I am very happy that someone was ignorant enough to ignore
the newly passed Ca state law on Breastfeeding in Public. Maybe now this will
get the public recognition it deserves... Hopefully, some day bay bottles
will be a thing of the past that no one remembers.....Lisa Mooney
