I have been no mail for a few days so I do not know if I am repeating a story
but I think this is great.
In the Boston Globe 8/4/03 there was an article "Obesity checks urged for
children" and they were quoting the AAP.
In the article they identified 5 bullets under this heading: In addition to
yearly BMI checks, the new policy encourages pediatricians to:
bullet #4:  Encourage breast-feeding because studies have shown it may reduce
children's risk of becoming overweight or obese.

This is such refreshing news.  I plan to point it out to all the people at
work.
