I don't believe I have ever heard of three "types" of Hemorrhagic Disease of
the Newborn.  The infants bleed when they run out of Vit K and can't make more
- the timing may vary.  There are also LOTS of other reasons, besides Vit K
deficiency, that infants might bleed!
