Renee,
You need to speak to a Registered Dietician who is familiar with
lactation.  My sister is an RD with a Master's Degree in clinical
nutrition, and she has helped me with a client who had previous gastric
bypass surgery.  Her advice was to make every bite of food this client
took as nutrient dense as possible.
