If anyone hasn't seen this yet. Now another argument for formula companies to promote formula over breastfeeding. "Fatty acids in infant formula may boost mental processing: Six-year-olds who were given formulas with long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids when they were babies processed information faster in a picture-matching exercise than did the breast-fed and regular-formula groups, a study showed. However, researchers found that both formula groups had the same average IQ scores. The findings appear in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition."

It states breastfed babies have higher IQ's, but are slower in their study most likely due to higher income & more educated moms even though breastmilk naturally contains PUFA's. Almost as if breastfeeding has nothing to do with it. *sigh* This just puts another road block in my way for the low-income moms I serve.
