There was a huge article in today's newspaper about a dramatic increase in
NEC in the NICU in one of the largest hospitals in Israel, Soroka in
Beersheva. The Health Ministry did an investigation, and the only
conclusion they reached is that this happened right after the hospital
switched to Similac and started giving Special Care to preemies. The
hospital switched back to Materna, the local brand.

Have there been any reports in the US linking Similac Special Care to NEC?
