Hello Mira
I have found that case studies and slides are wonderful teaching tools,
especially to encourage attendees to participate. Depending on the number
attending, you could either use them as a way to generate general
discussion of common issues or else to use them for small group discussion.
I think we often feel we have to pack the limited time we have with as many
facts as possible when really we would be better off getting attendees to
discuss (rather than listen only) some key issues so that they are more
likely to remember these. You can always leave the attendees with a list of
resources eg textbooks, the internet, ILCA, LLL, IBLCE etc.
