Hello,
I am glad to join lactnet again, after a long absence. However, since I work in
many locations, I will be frequently NOMAIL and I suggest any answer ou
communication to be sent to me on my private address as well as, if useful, to
the list.

I am a physician who used to be very involved in breastfeeding promotion and
support, but now, I am mostly involved in occupational health. But, since no one
has been able to shake bf of this lady here, I frequently receive questions
about chemicals in the workplace and breastfeeding. In fact, we have a program
here (in Province of Québec, Canada) where the pregnant ou breastfeeding lady
may be reassigned to other tasks without loss of pay or privileges if the
workplace is considered dangerous for the pregnance or the nursing infant (if
there are no safe tasks, the lady is sent home with full compensation by the
CSST, the equivalent of Workmen Compensation Board).

My question is: is there a web page, or another quick ressource, for chemicals
and lactation. Something like dr. Hale's website, but on chemicals ?

Thank you very much and please forgive my written english, as this is not my
first language (it is french...)

Louise Denhez, MD, MPH
