I have been reading about the suspected effects on breastfeeding that
birth induction and medications used during the birth may have. So
here's my question. A colleague will be having a planned induction,
probably several weeks before her due date because of hypertension.
What can she do to counteract the effect that induction/medications
might have on the baby? She breastfed her first with no problems, also
after induction/hypertension (although she reports that "her milk came in
late"). Any suggestions to help ensure a successful start this time, too?
