I agree with Pat.  At one year, the important things are cuddling,
holding, "wearing the baby".  Buy a couple of slings and start attaching
those babies.

BTW, congratulations to her and her hubby for opening their home and
redifining their family.  My heart breaks when I watch the news.  It's
getting harder and harder to justify having an empty nest.
