I see this phenomenon happen frequently.  The only common denomenator I find
is that they always have had IV fluids during labor.  They are so hydrated
that they are edemous everywhere.  It usually resolves within 3-5 days.
Pumping helps some, drinking lots of fluids to help flush out the edema
helps but all take time.
