Ok folks. It is that time of year again. My annual plea for those who
care deeply about the IBCLC profession and credential to Step Up and Pull
an Oar.

IBLCE -- the certifying organization, without which NONE of us (IBCLCs)
exist -- is seeking nominees for its Board.

Please consider tossing your hat into the ring. I listen to an awful lot
of beefing about IBLCE and its policies -- here on Lactnet, in person, on
Facebook, from my own lips.

I am also a firm believer that if you have it within your power to effect
change about the things you complain about, you should do it.

No, I am not tossing my hat in this ring. I am coming off the ILCA Board
in July 2014, and taking on a two-year board post as Secretary at the
United States Breastfeeding Committee.

We need excellent practitioners on the IBLCE Board. Please give this very
serious thought.
