Glenn, here's an interesting position that I recently heard of from an
LC (it worked for my thrush/sore nipples): Get mom in a recliner and put
baby over her shoulder so that the feet are hanging over the shoulder
and the head is on the breast. This position shouldn't put pressure on
the babies head.

The LC that recommended this position for me reads lacnet, so maybe
she'll reply. Otherwise, I can put you in touch with her offline. She's
