Dear friends, 

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. This is from a email I sent to Marsha Walker:

"I don't know if you've heard this yet, I'm behind in Lactnet, but I was in the staff bathroom today and look right in front of my eyes is a large poster from Ross announcing "Rejuvenate" A COMPLIMENTARY beauty treatment coming soon to discharge kits nationwide!" The poster has a cup of coffee, a woman getting a massage and a woman with a green (how fitting) mask with cucumbers on her eyes. Of course I tore it down and am hiding it in my office!!

Our hospital practices "Planetree" a "touchy/feely" patient friendly "atmosphere", so I bet our administration would have a field day with this. 

I am sooo disheartened, what a ever constant battle this is. Our Mother/Baby unit is losing about 12 beds to add med-surg beds, and the LC's are losing our office, and are being moved to an entirely different floor by radiation oncology...no sink, nothing. We have been moved 2x before, but never off the unit entirely.... lets you know how important we really are. 

Will this ever end? Or will we fizzle out from banging our heads against the walls for so many years?!? For me, 14 years....."
