No...highly unlikely. We do some ker-azy things in this country, but
I have not heard of mothers doing this with 2 wk old babies in a
gazillion years.

No, the evidence at the appeal was that *formula* was associated with
a higher risk of SIDS, which was a defence of the mother who had been
accused of murder.....the defence wanted to show that smoking,
formula feeding and (in this baby's case) sleeping on his front added
up to a higher circumstantial risk of SIDS.

If the baby had gone on to have cows or goats after his two weeks of
formula feeding, this would surely have been added to the defence's
list of things that made murder less likely.
