Wendy -
I'm not an expert on becoming an LLL leader, other than being one myself,
but as I understand the process it has always involved at least:
-being unvolved in LLL in some way, usually through a group,
-having nursed a baby for about a year
-basic agreement with the LLL philosophy (We in LLL believe..)
-a process of reading, study and clarification with the area person
responsible for leader applications
-discussions and involvement with a current leader
I am sure that if you are an active member of a LLL group you will find
out everything that you need to know without much trouble.

IBLCE certification involves education, experience and an exam.

Good Luck
