I want to share my fury with some people who may be sympathetic.

I work with lots of teens--counseling & LCing.  I hear lots of adults' ideas
about stemming the tide of teen pregnancy.

At the same time, there is a nationally syndicated radio show, who, as
evidenced by its very young callers, aims its content at teens.  This stuff
can only be described as Audio Porn (on every night of the week, by the way).
 Although they jokingly tell these kids not to get pregnant (yea, right!),
they encourage what can only be described as promisucous sexual activity,
with absolutely no limits, including age. Condoms are promoted but Sexually
Transmitted Diseases are laughed about regularly. Abstinence is considered
ridiculous.  Parents are described as idiots and kids are told to ignore them
and "just don't get caught". I listen once a week on my drive home from
teaching a college class, so that I can be aware of what some of my clients
are being "taught".

Last nite, they had a guest co-host.  A big deal was made of the fact that he
was an MD with 4 Board Certs.  A 15 year old girl called cuz she wants breast
implants to "fix" her "only A cup" breasts.  To the host's credit, he did
point out that she has time and that some men like small breasts--then went
on to talk, for several minutes, about how he loves big ones.  She asked the
Dr, "If I get implants can I breastfeed my babies?"  He said, "The answer is
simple.  Yes"

Someday, possibly soon, this little girl may be one of our clients when she
has low milk supply.  I will weep for her, her babies,  and the many others
who've been lied to by "experts."
