To All Listmates,

Sorry, I was just trying to derail the train that was running. The most shocking part of this is ...Bill Maher advocates breastfeeding? I am shocked that PETA would use a woman hating, comedian be their spokesperson on this issue.

As a final note...yes I have now looked through the archives...no easy answers...

This is a good time to end this thread...it has all been said before.

Thank-you everyone

Peggy Ventura

I don't think a breastfeeding mom should have to plan her life around the baby's feeding schedule - if s/he even has one. Mine never did. They breastfed when they were hungry or tired or sad or whatever... and whenever and wherever. Heck, that's one of the advantages of breastfeeding! Mobility. :-)

Discretion is not just covering up. It is remembering that you are a breastfeeding mom. Think about the time...Do I have time to go out to eat at Applebee's? Will my friends or family have to wait an extra half hour while I feed the baby in the restaurant? Is that realistic? Am I thinking about where I will be when my baby will likely be hungry?
