I received some Latch-Assist "gadgets" while they were still in the trial period to give feedback on. Personally, I loved them. They worked for every mother in my care that I thought would benefit. Interpreted--it might not work for every mom in every situation, but it is a useful gadget when used in the right situation. It is an easy way to draw a nipple out, as compared with pumping first or using a "backward" syringe. Mother can control the pressure to keep it at a comfortable level, and baby can remain on mom, ready to nurse. It simplified the process.
