Wouldn't baby's source of herpes be mom? My main concern would be that
herpes on the nipples can be wickedly sore and maybe she needs to pump and
feed alternatively instead of repeatedly exposing the nipple tissue to
herpes. If baby gets an antiviral (which she would in US) then the lesions
will clear up soon. Also I highly recommend L-Lysine as way to combat
herpes. L-Lysine is in breast milk and mom can also take extra via diet or
tablets. She can avoid high arginine foods so herpes isn't encouraged. Pat
