Hi Fritzi,
I just had a mom the other day with a rash on her breasts only. She said it
  started  during her third trimester and would come and go.  It only
appeared on her breasts.  When I saw her in the hospital  it looked like an
allergic reaction/ hives and was very "itchy".
this mom was going to continue breastfeeding.
the ob  prescribed  1% Hydrocordisone  to the breasts but not the nipples
and areola as this area was not involved.
This was the 3rd child and the the first time with this problem.
