I saw this info when looking up melatonin in wikepedia -

research showing  melatonin  increased prolactin levels in some women - small control group but interesting... I would love to see a study measuring the prolactin levels of women who are struggling with frequent nursing at night in relation to their melatonin levels... compared to the melatonin levels of women who have an abundance of milk and whose babies wake only once or twice a night or only occasionally... hmmm....
