I just returned from the California Annual WIC Conference.  I was so very
impressed with WIC's dedication to breastfeeding there.  There were NO
FORMULA COMPANIES in the exhibit hall for this meeting!  They had a wonderful
skit at their banquet with many many references to their dedication to
breastfeeding, including a reference to the State WIC Director's insistance
on having a top of the line breastfeeding program for WIC participants.  They
had ample opportunities for breastfeeding education in their break-out
sessions.  I have several of these conferences on my schedule over the next
few months.  I hope I see the same breastfeeding friendly environments.
