Thank you, Micaela, for your thoughtful post!
The nuances you mention are indeed important.
The thing is... this statement comes from a document-to-be that takes a very 
'careful' position on many issues.
In that context, I'm worried it will be explained more in the direction of 
the 'fuss' you mention.
And actually... I'm not even sure that there is no evidence that straight 
after birth is not more effective than later.
I will take another look at Nils' site; I've been there several times 
before, but will try and search in a more focussed way now.
As Jean said... new stuff is coming up. Oohhh, it should be dropped from a 
plane all over the western world! hahaha
