I know that we have a general percentage rate of 60% leaching activity
using storage bags and the freezing process of expressed milk but is
anyone familiar with a souce that shows a comparison of major brands of
collection containers with SPECIFIC information on research siting the
loss of major components of the milk? This is for our NICU population.
I have found several sources that refer to the materials that the
storage containers are made of but I need specific ino on brands and
percentage of loss for milk components ie lipids, IgA, etc. for each.
Thanks so much for any help,
Shirley
